On top of the celebrated
white cliffs of Dover, narrowest point of England from
continental Europe, stands the mighty Dover Castle. The site
has been of strategic importance for thousands of years. The
castle,with its maze of tunnels dug into the cliff, has seen almost continuous action from the iron age to the second
world war. Inside the castle, administered by
English Heritage, are a range of interactive attractions that bring
the long history of this castle alive.

Dover Palace is slightly East of the town/port of Dover just off of A258, and overlooks the famous White Cliffs.

- Adults: £13.40 ($22.33)
- Children: £6.70 ($11.17)
- Family: £33.50 ($55.83)
Opening Times:
- April - Sept: 10am - 6pm, 7 days/week (open at 9:30am in August)
- Oct - Nov 1: 10am - 5pm, 7 days/week
- Nov 2 - March: 10am - 4pm, 7 days/week (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Nov 2 - Jan 31)
