This is me, finally. Window into Britain is my site (almost 3,000 pages would you believe) and tens of millions of visits - British Telecom I think you owe me a lot of money! And the English Tourist board too. (I'm not the English tourist board).

I come from London, but now live in the west country. The countryside around here is beautiful I love it.

Why did I do this site? I don't know it just evolved and I must be mad. If anyone knows how to make some money out of it please let me know.

I get lots of emails asking all sorts of questions about all aspects of Britain. Quite honestly I don't know the answer to most of these questions. I suggest you phone the relevant body and ask them, either from the numbers on this site or ask the operator - or maybe a library. Once you have the information could you please post it back onto this site by the self posting links of either the message boards or the tips buttons.
