A unique 16 sided house built on the instructions of two
spinster cousins, Jane and Mary Parminter, on their return from a
grand tour of Europe. Completed in 1796 the house has many
collections brought back by the cousins.

2 miles north of Exmouth on A375. (Exmouth is on the Devon
south coast on the west bank of the Exe estuary). Rail Lympstone

Description:
The house, built in 1822 and set in 12 ha of garden
contains fascinating collections for a variety of tastes. It has
model ships, shells, costumes, pewter and 19c furniture. A large
array of early horse drawn vehicles are on display and there are
carriage rides. There are woodland and lakeside walks.
