Description
The oldest surviving timber-framed barn in
Europe, dating from around 1140, and originally part of the
Cistercian monastery of Coggeshall. It was restored in the 1980s by
the Coggeshall Grange Barn Trust, Braintree District Council and
Essex County Council. Features a small collection of farm carts and
wagons.
