Billed as one of England's great little castle it is a small neat little castle. Many of its 15 rooms are fully furnished and it has a very fascinating lifelike animated model. It has a permanent exhibition called the Tamworth Story which tells the towns story from Roman times to the present day.

Tamworth is north east of Birmingham. From M1/M6 northbound take M42 junction 10. From M6 southbound aroach Tamworth via A5. A51 and A453 ass through town centre. Large car park 6 minute walk from castle. Tamworth station 10 minute walk from castle.
