Rye Castle Museum

Description:
Located in the stone tower of the castle the museum displays history of Rye and the Cinque Ports. With lottery funding a brand new museum will be opening in town centre in 99.

Location:
Rye.-on the A259 coast road between Hastings and Folkestone.

Opening Times:
winter Sat & Sun 10.30-4.30 or dusk. Summer 10.30-5.30

Disabled Access:
Unsuitable at present but new museum will have full access

Adults: £1.50 Child: 50p

Winchelsea Museum

Description:
Dating back to the 13c the museum has a model of the town as it was in 1292 constructed by a local historian

Winchelsea is on the A259 coast road between Hastings and Rye.

May-Oct 10-12.30 & 2-5 Sun 2-5 Weekends in April.
