Description
A regularly altered house of monastic origin, the present
buildings date from early 16c with notable Queen Anne alterations.
The topiary and flower gardens contain medieval walls, ancient box
and numerous compartments.

Description
The investigation of Avebury Stone Circles was largely the
work of Alexander Keiller in the 1930's. He put together one of the
most important prehistoric archaeological collections in Britain and
this can be seen in Avebury Museum. Please note the actual stone
circles are free to view.
