Borough Market
Due to its strategic position as a meeting point of all roads from the south into the City of London there seems to have been a market here near London Bridge since its first construction. While at the moment looking slightly jaded, the buildings are unique and hardly a week goes by without a crew filming here for some production. The trustees of Borough Market have secured funding to upgrade the market to a lively centre for food excellence and this upgrading should come on-stream soon. The name of the scheme is THE LARDER OF LONDON which was the nickname for the former docks in the Pool of London.
