London Bridge Although many people downgrade south London and treat it with a smear the next part of the tour has so many fascinating and hsitorical land marks that it is worth mentioning the routes to discover why... London Bridge is Londons oldest bridge and for a long time the only bridge. The first bridge was built by the Romans and it was the only route into the new City of London from the south. Consequently all routes from the south would converge at this point. It was only natural this junction would become a centre for inns, entertainment, trading, vice and of course relegion.....
