The New
Tate Gallery
Just a few yards away
from the new Globe Theatre work is apace on this £100
million development in the striking (now disused) Bankside
Power Station converting it into the new Tate Gallery. It
promises to be one of the top four modern art galleries in
the world. The Millbank Tate Art Gallery was only able to
display around 15% of its 4,500 collection so there is much
excitement in store. It will also be accessible from the new
millennium walkway from St. Pauls...
