Jermyn Street
This street, quite narrow compared to the larger Piccadilly which is parallel, was completed in the 1680's on crown land granted to Henry Jermyn, Earl of St Albans. At first a fashionable residential street, it became a street of exclusive hotels, then of men's attire. Today it remains that, a purveyor of men's apparel of very high quality and many of the shops retain a Victorian facade.
