Chichester An old town; the Romans established an important base here in AD43 and the largest Roman house FISHBOURNE is 4 miles to the south. Today's city is mainly Georgian with a bustling mainly pedestrianised centre which has an impressive cathedral. The important Chichester Arts festival takes place in the summer of which we will be providing more information. |
