Henley

Pleasant Thameside town in Oxfordshire with timberframed 18c houses and a bridge of 1786 with sculptured masks of Father Thames and Isis. It is famous for the Henly Royal Regatta, traditional boat rowing contests, a spectacle that is a pillar of Englishness and it happens in July.
