Marlborough
>Marlborough has the look of a staunch and historic
English town. It is. Granted its first charter in 1204 the
town has traces of Neolithic and Roman occupation around its
castle mound. It had three major fires in the 1600's but its
broad High Street is still flanked with 16c houses. The town
is dotted with history and has a famous college.
